understanding how client description
(from the thumbnail B the character describe the scene being more relax and from fighting so i put the camera angle on top to showcase the character design more with subtle hint of being a "relaxed".
2nd draft
apparently, it's a tall shield that can retract.
what look like originally, but client emphasize that its very chunky huge armor.
another draft with revisions, trying to understand how it retract also better understanding on the given reference of concept art.
more sketches but this one more approved by client and better understanding on the design that given to me. i think its most important part to communicate with client to reach this point.
some value rendering trying to give that solid feel on the armor, especially that heavy feeling of metal.
